Amidst the focus on high-profile refugee crises, many other displaced populations around the world continue to languish in protracted situations, often forgotten by the international community. These forgotten refugees face ongoing hardship, limited access to basic necessities, and a lack of durable solutions.
It is crucial that the international community does not prioritize certain refugee crises over others and that all displaced people are treated with dignity and provided with the support they need. Increased attention, funding, and resettlement opportunities are needed for these often-overlooked populations to ensure that they are not left behind and can rebuild their lives with hope for the future.
